But for the showers we plead . . .
Just found out that one 7-year-old prayer warrior got a bit confused on my name and is praying for Mrs. Shower! I love it. Isn’t that exactly what we’re asking for?
How about a 17-year-old who has her phone alarm set to go off at a certain time every afternoon as a reminder to pray?
Or a couple doing the Daniel fast together so that tummy growls prompt prayer?
Another friend gave up diet cola. Some of you really understand this sacrifice!
Others are following the Psalmist’ example as they pray morning, noon and night.
The power of prayer. Thank you!

Showers, showers of blessings… that’s the song that’s been on my heart all day for you today! I was even singing it out loud before my sweet hubby left for work this morning. Uniting with you in prayer!!

Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!! Awesomeness Last night!!!
On and Off the Court! Faith is the Victory, Faith is the Victory, Oh glorious Victory that overcomes this world. Victory in Jesus my Savior FOREVER, He sought me and bought me, with his redeeming blood. All to Jesus I surrender, Jesus keep me in the cross, there’s a precise Fountain, Free to all the healing stream, that flows from Calvary’s Mountain. Jesus friend of sinners, What a friend we have in Jesus all our griefs and sins to bare, what a privilege to carry, everything to God in prayer.!!!!!!!
Love you All, Steve

Kristen, I have been praying for you; although I have only known about your battle since mid-January. I think that today is the first day of Lent. I feel prompted to big a fast today. Be assured that I will continue to pray for your complete recovery for the glory of our God. <

Shunka sang “Showers of Blessings” all the time–when hanging out the clothes, washing dishes, ironing, & cooking. As a tiny child, I remember her singing, “Oh that today they might fall!” But I knew that there WILL be showers because that is what Momma believed–they come when we call on Jesus for “seasons refreshing,” and He sends an “abundance of rain.” I’m sure Shunka is praying for her precious Krissy.
