Almost 1,000 people have now been through the Praying for Your Prodigal study. Just think of that! Some of these are interceding for multiple prodigals and many having completed the study once are going back through for round two as they continue to beseech the Father to woo His wandering ones home.
I wish you could hear the stories I’m hearing. Here’s one example: a mother goes through the study praying earnestly for her daughter. As things often do get worse before they get better, her daughter’s husband has an affair and leaves the home. Hitting bottom, this prodigal daughter heads for the arms of the Father and – get this – starts the Praying for Your Prodigal study to pray her husband home. She completes the study twice with her mother by her side, now on her second journey through as well, believing God for a miracle of restoration for her marriage. After almost a year of waiting and working hard in prayer, the husband has come home! Four children now have a daddy and a mama seeking God together, establishing a Christ-centered home!
This is just one story. What’s your story? Click on the Praying For Your Prodigal Page and tell us where you see God at work so we can celebrate with you or where you’d like to see Him work so we can pray alongside you.
Galatians 6:9 reminds us not to grow weary in well doing for in due season we will reap a harvest if we do not faint. Still praying? Just starting? Not seeing much movement yet? Pray on . . . pray on . . . pray on! God is at work while you pray. Pray in faith. Don’t give up, and you will reap a harvest of prodigals come home.

That I will continue to pray in earnest for my prodigal husband to come home and claim his gift as a child of God, that bitterness will not remain rooted causing me to lose hope and cease praying.
However, a praise – my life has never been the same since taking God Seeker twice! My prayer life has changed forever, thus leading me to the prodigal study… and on and on…

Praying now for more than 3 years for my prodigal to come “home” I’m not giving up! He lives at home but doesn’t want to… soon as the house sells, he says he’s leaving and I need to find a place to live. ..but I’m praying that the house does not sell until God brings him back to Himself and back to me nothing is impossible
