Nairobi, Kenya – like nothing I’ve ever seen or experienced before. We’ve met faithful men and women of God who pray strongholds down. Their models of prayer and dependance will shape me and my ministry from this time forward. The power of the Living God is evident here as His people labor before His throne. Equally as obvious is the power of darkness. Two large slums, one with nearly one million residents, demonstrate the shocking horrors of poverty. Images still too fresh to describe here tonight mingle with odors, sounds and a deep sorrow that will need to be processed in the days ahead.
Praise God for the people of LIA who are listening for the Father’s creative solutions and obeying His every command to train, equip and aid these broken, forgotten, precious souls.
Tomorrow Kurt preaches in a Kenyan church while our Pastor Dave Stone speaks twice in another. Pray for them as they bring greetings from the American church that the Lord will somehow use them to encourage through the teaching of His Word.
Pray also for Drew who is down with fever and aches possibly due to the malaria medication. Ask the Great Physician for a speedy recovery and for protection for the rest of our team.
Blogging continues to be a challenge. I am unable to see what I am writing or correct any mistakes, so I apologize for the mess-ups!
Photos and video are coming if we can get our technology to cooperate. If not now, then when we return home.
God is doing amazing things and teaching us all so much. Please keep praying. We hope to come home empowered with many lessons to share.

Well, it’s an answer to prayer to see your post. Been praying this will be a life changing experience for all of you. Will be praying for healing for Drew. Absolutely can’t wait to hear stories and see video and pictures.

Bathing you and the family in prayer with weeping–surely Jesus’ heart is breaking for these, His precious children for whom He died. What an undeserved honor to be His hands and feet–to express His love– to seek solely do do His will as it is revealed to you and He takes you further still. You will not want to leave, I know.
