Pray without ceasing. 1 Thes. 5:17
Top Three Praises:
1- A great start for Excellent Things on WFIA! Enjoying all the God at work stories. Our Lord is amazing – powerful and personal. He is worthy of all our praise!
2- Tech help for FSM. In answer to a long-standing prayer request, the Lord has provided a very gifted individual who is helping update Further Still’s equipment and tech tools so we work and minister much more efficiently! We are thanking the Lord for Vivek.
3- Continued clear direction and open doors for ministry.
Top Three Requests:
1- Balance/ Discernment! Please keep Further Still’s team in prayer as we all hold the line on keeping priorities in place. Ministry comes out of the overflow and should never dictate our schedule. Only the Spirit gets to do that! Ask the Father to keep us relying on daily bread and walking full of His Spirit.
2- Radio. Preparation time. Guests. Creativity. Sarah as she coordinates schedules. Divine appointments over the air waves!
3- Retreats. Many details need to come together by certain deadlines. Teams of people are preparing. Pray that God’s hand of favor will rest upon us and confirm the work of our hands. Pray for a powerful moving of God’s Spirit among those who attend.
This week on Excellent Things-
Monday: Teaching on 1 Samuel chapter 3 that will help us better position ourselves to hear from the Lord.
Tuesday: A difficult topic, but necessary: suicide. Even in great loss, we see the hand of God working to redeem. Hear a moving testimony from Keith and Linda Blanford regarding the death of their son Bryan. Find encouragement and hope.
Wednesday: Angie Briggs, a relatively new Christian, shares the journey that led her to the Lord. You’ll see our personal God at work drawing Angie to Himself.
Thursday: Open-line. Your opportunity to join Excellent Things and share your own God at work moments. Give Him praise, say thank you, or tell a story of where you see God at work in our world. We want to hear from you!
Friday: George and Cassie Soete join us to talk about where they see God at work healing marriages. Long-time marriage mentors who by the grace of God overcame mountainous obstacles in their own marriage , the Soetes will offer insight and provide reports on marriages that are finding hope in Christ.
Thank you for building a foundation of prayer! Thank you for partnering with us to point to the Famous One and make His name glorious!
