Many, O Lord my God, are the wonders which Thou hast done. There is none to compare to Thee. If I should declare and speak of them they would be too numerous to count . . .” Psalm 40:5 NASB
A couple of people have asked, “Are you ever afraid of running out of stories to tell on Excellent Things?” I understand their question. I do get it. Very early on I had this momentary twinge of concern – a fleeting thought – what would happen if we should run out of stories?
The still, small voice quickly put that fear to rest. Can you run out of God? Can you exhaust Him? Does He have an end?
Many are the wonders He has done! There is no one like Him. So many God at work stories, too many to count, are available for us to declare. So, we will make Him known.
Monday: Corky Kingenfus has pastored four different churches and is now on staff as a Pastoral Minister at another. He brings to us stories of the power of prayer in daily life and ministry as well as one very unusual prayer assignment God called him to that spanned decades before he understood its purpose!
Tuesday: Marcie and Caroline Hughes, a mother/daughter team reveal God working through us as we serve others. At age 13 Caroline was awarded the Kentucky youth volunteer of the year award for her work in a local nursing home. This show offers great insight into rearing kids who learn to be servants in Jesus name!
Wednesday: Keith and Linda Blanford are repeat guests on Excellent Things. This time around they share hope for those praying for prodigals. As you listen to their stories of answered prayer you’ll be encouraged to keep praying. But, you’ll also learn that some of their prodigals are not home yet. You’re not alone as you cry out for the hand of God to move in mighty ways!
Thursday: Live Call-in. We want to hear your story! Are you recognizing God at work around you? No movement of the Almighty is too small to deserve our praise. In big ways and ordinary, daily ways, He works on our behalf. Call in and give Him glory!
Friday: Kenny and Michelle Mason are in a good place and they are praising God for His divine intervention in their lives. This powerful story of God at work in overcoming addictions and healing a badly hurting marriage will give hope and help for all of us no matter our individual struggles.
Join us this week from 3-4, Monday through Friday on 900AM WFIA or listen via live stream at www.wfiafm.com and be encouraged, for He has done excellent things!
