Monday- Steve Pollock: how does a man battling both Parkinson’s and MS keep laughing, loving and living for Jesus? Steve will share his continuing journey and help us learn to see God working rightly even when our bodies don’t.
Tuesday- Christy Cox: next year will mark the 25th anniversary of the horrific bus crash in Carrollton County that killed 27 and injured many more. Christy was 13 at the time. Her father, the bus driver, perished in the crash along with her first cousin and many close friends. Christy survived but suffered serious burns over the majority of her body. Hear her story of God’s faithfulness through suffering and find out how it’s possible to have joy even in the storm.
Wednesday– Mark Erwin: the founder of Mark’s Feed Store joins us to talk about business as ministry. After Mark came to Christ he discovered that his business could became an environment in which to care for people and watch God work. Find out how you can bring the Lord into your work environment and have eternal impact!
Thursday– Lee Bean: director of the Open Door of Hope homeless shelter in Shelby County, Kentucky shares how God is working to reach those in desperate need. By providing the most basic of needs, the love of Christ is opening doors and changing lives.
Friday– Kurt Sauder: Friday’s show is dedicated to the legacy of Matt Davidson, our worship leader at Southeast Christian Church Oldham Campus, who went home to be with Jesus suddenly this past Saturday. Kurt and I will talk about God at work preparing a place for His children in heaven, and we’ll tell stories of God at work through the life of one man, one musician, to love on the lost, build up believers and live humbly and passionately for our Lord. We will also be taking your calls. If you have a memory of Matt D. or a word of encouragement, we’d love to hear from you this Friday. We will be presenting a copy of this show to Matt’s family as a testimony to his life.
