WFIA- 900 AM from 3-4PM
Beginning Monday, July 30, 2012 WFIA- 94.7 FM from 3-4PM (in addition to AM)
Monday: Often when we serve the Lord and others the biggest blessings are not those we give, but rather those we receive in the process. When Marcie Hughes signed up to pray for a new member at her church she was randomly assigned a name. Cindy Busi, new to that same church, signed up to visit a local nursing home. In God’s providence, Cindy was the name on Marcie’s card and Marcie’s grandmother was who Cindy was visiting! This exciting story and more as we highlight when God works through prayer.
Tuesday: God works to redeem our past so we can bring Him great glory in the present! Angela Minter aborted two babies in her teens. Today she is a committed Christ follower and Executive Director of Sisters for Life, Inc. providing sidewalk counseling, intercessory prayer and information about alternative options for young women on their way into the abortion clinic at 2nd and Market.
Wednesday: Life is often so full, busy, cluttered and crazy that we bog down under the weight of it all. In her book Almost Amish, Nancy Sleeth helps us learn to live in rhythm with the Father. By taking simple, baby steps, we can reign in the chaos and make time for all that matters most.
Thursday: Theo Bellamy, Athletic Director at Westport Middle School, takes us behind the scenes to show us God at work in the next generation.
Friday: Twenty-some years ago Mike Graham was told he had 6 months to live. God had other plans! Mike was never healed. He continues to battle cancer to this very day, but according to Mike, he’s come to believe that his cancer is a gift. How can that be? Join us Friday as Mike and his wife Sharon share their journey and their joy!
