Monday: Becky Zimmerman lost her sight as a child and doctors remain baffled. There is no medical explanation for Becky’s blindness. Now a wife of twenty years and mother of three, Becky continues to believe that one day God will open her eyes. Her journey through blindness has grown her own faith and that of many others, as the Lord uses her for His glory.
Tuesday: Learn how the Father prompted one couple, Jason and Jackie Bragg, to begin a greatly needed ministry for couples experiencing the pain and loss of miscarriage. Elijah’s Miracle, a support group named after the son they lost at 10 weeks, now meets regularly to help bind up the brokenhearted and encourage with the love of Christ.
Wednesday: Bob Bryant will begin his 27th year as a Visual Arts teacher in the Oldham County School System. He also coached cross country and track for 25 years. Challenged to be a doer of God’s Word and not just a hearer (James 1:22), Bob stepped up as the FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) sponsor at East Oldham Middle and is watching God work through him to impact lives with the truth of Jesus Christ!
Thursday: What happens when puppies are partnered with prisoners ? Well, the puppies receive training, the prisoners experience unconditional love and learn what it means to serve others and, in the end, people in need are provided with companions that make a huge difference in their day-to-day lives. Join me as I talk with Barbara Howard about the many benefits and blessings of Paws with Purpose.
Friday: Every year, and especially in an election year, it’s important for Christ followers to filter our understanding of politics through the grid of a Biblical world-view. As we prepare to elect men and women who will lead our nation into the future, Chad Dupill a former US Marine helicopter pilot will join us to provide some much-needed insight and perspective.
