Praising God for His presence and His people. We can’t express our gratitude to all of you. Every text, email, call, card, act of service and most importantly your prayers are immensely encouraging. We are in the process of setting up a Caring Bridge site to keep anyone who wants to know up to speed. This is actually Ivy posting here as mom is conserving strength. Her gas tank is empty and she needs to build reserves for the treatment ahead. She would love to speak with each of you in person, but literally is not able to do so right now. Your messages mean the world to her though. We continue to read them to her.
From the Doctor’s perspective this is a small cell lung cancer in her right lung. PET scan also revealed cancer in her tail bone. This type does not respond to surgery and is aggressive, so this Thursday a team of doctors will let us know the plan for chemo and radiation. Mom takes great encouragement from the Spirit’s whisper to her heart that she will not battling cancer but will be battling fear. God is already giving her great victory in this. She is letting the Lord fight for her and the body of Christ battle on her behalf.
We firmly believe that this is an attack form the evil one, but know that what satan means for evil, God will use for good! We are already experiencing God at work in amazing ways.
Please wrestle in prayer with us specifically for:
– For God to arrest any further spreading of the cancer and to begin the complete healing process immediately
– For God to be my shield and defense against dehydration and any physical side affects from treatments
– For rest and good sleep
– Pray strategically against the enemy’s attack, asking the Lord to confuse any demonic plans for evil against my body, our family, and ministry that God has called us to do
– Praise God for continuing to do excellent things!
The radio show will continue. Mom will be on live, often with dad, as strength permits.
Praying for Kristen. I’ve had cancer and I know it can be scary. My grandmother was recently diagnosed with cancer on her tailbone and spine. After 19 treatments of radiation she is doing really well! Praying over each of the requests listed and asking for the peace that passes all understanding to blanket your family at this time. Oh Ivy, you ARE your mother’s daughter! And she is her Father’s daughter!!! There is NO FEAR, as PERFECT LOVE casts that out…your mother HAS perfect love for her STRONG and MIGHTY God…He will lead through this trial (because that’s what He does!), and she will emerge stronger and more committed to her calling! He has ordained each day before one came to pass, so we persevere and trust and pray! He is STRONGER than cancer! Every battle God fights, He wins! Love that He chose us, protects us, loves us, and heals all of our diseases! We are praying without ceasing…WE LOVE THE SAUDERS…every last one of you! Remember…we are MORE THAN CONQUERORS because of Christ! With a love that will not end…

Kristin It’s my blessing to have the oppurtunity to pray for you right now! I am claiming healing over your entire body in the name of Jesus! We are the Victors,not the Victums! Spiritual warfare and attacks of the devil are real, but we serve a God who is so much greater, and stronger!!!
