All the cancer has shrunk significantly, especially on the lung!!!!! Praise the Lord!!! He has heard our prayers, He gave us our hearts desire. Psalm 37:4, “Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.” Also the doctor told mom that she can have a two-week break from Tarceva!!!! After the two weeks she will get to lower her dose to 25mg instead of 75mg! We are praying that this will allow her to gain weight!
Psalm 34:4 says, “I sought the Lord and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears.” Sunday we had a prayer time and I confessed that I had always thought about what the medicine would do and which doctor was going to help and figure it out the best. But what I forgot about was even if we did not have doctors, pills, and diets we still had the hope of the Lord and His hand would be holding it all! So lift your eyes to heaven and be full of the blessings He has poured upon us and will continue to pour on us. Isaiah 40:26, “Lift your eyes and look to the heavens….”
We continue to ask that you pray for weight gain and a tummy that will be grumbling for food and will hold it all in. Mom is now at 87 pounds- better than 83! Dad, mom and I were at lunch and mom mentioned that the Holy Spirit reminded her of Samson. She was saying that she needed her hair back just as he did. And I told her that most importantly when Sampson got his hair back he also got his strength back and that is what the Lord can do for her! Thank you for waiting patiently for the results of Mondays appointment. Ellie

Ellie, you did a great job with this post! One of our prayer partners said that he looks forward to everyone’s writing, but “Ellie’s posts are my favorites.” Joe & I just thank the Lord for you. We love you so very much. We cannot praise our Heavenly Father enough for this Passover–He saw the blood of Jesus when He looked at Mommy. He is “our life and the length of our days.” Time to write one of your beautiful hymns of praise! Love you so much!

Hallelujah! By His stripes we were healed and made whole. We continue to come into agreement with God’s Word over your mom’s physical body through fasting and prayer and declaration of HIS WORD. We will overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony!! Hallelujah to Our Lord Jesus Christ! He is the same yesterday, today and forever!
Sending much love to your whole family,
Donna J.

Praise the Lord, literally! It easy to say those words isn’t it. Westport continues to support you in prayer and fasting. It is amazing how gracious our God is. Why should we be surprised, but I must admit, we always are! Or maybe it is the reality and excitement of His great works. What a great rejoicing in Him.
Rest and eat dear one during these days of respite. InC, Sandy Baker

Ellie, I am just reading your post and am reminded of a note you wrote to me when you were in third grade. (I kept all my notes and read them when I need a “lift”! 🙂 You quoted 2 Timothy 1:3 in that note. Now I am claiming that one for you. You and your family are constantly & forever in my heart and prayers. Much love, Mrs. Wes’
