This past week I was blessed by a letter I received that related how much Kristen and I loved each other. It read as follows: “The first time I saw you and Kristen together was at a Discover class shortly after the Oldham Campus (Southeast Christian Church) opened. When you introduced Kristen, your eyes sparkled and your whole being lit up. You said something like, “I know, I know, I look a lot older than she does. I look at her and still can’t believe how blessed I am to have her as my wife.” I wondered, wow, does my husband ever look at me like that? Does he ever talk about me that way? You were ministering to us even then because I started paying closer attention to my own marriage that day. It is a precious memory for me, and I thank you for that.”
Kristen and I loved to speak on marriage. And even though I won’t have her with me physically anymore, her spirit and heart will be there as I continue to speak at future events.
Heads up men- this coming Saturday, March first, at 7am, I will be speaking at the Saturday Morning Men’s Bible Study at Southeast Christian Church, Blankenbaker Campus. I’d love to have you join the hundreds of men as I talk about my two favorite topics- Jesus and Kristen. I hope to see you there!

Kurt,
Every night when my knees hit the floor, I pray. And every night you and your children are a vital part of my petition to the Father, that hope, comfort, assurance, love from above will continually give you the peace that goes well beyond understanding that only He can give us.
Love to all there,
George Fields

Back on 9/7/13 Kristen posted “Parents Who Pray”, I have used this as a guide to pray for our family ever since. 1 Thessalonians 5:17, I have sent our grandchildren letters explaining how I pray for them. One of the many memories I cherish of my parents is that I knew they prayed for me each day.
Tonight at our Women’s OC Bible study I will be sharing copies of Kristen’s “Parents Who Pray” blog. We continue to be blessed by Further Still Ministries, Thank You.

I pray for you still every day, Kurt. I’m going to try to attend Saturday morning. Although it’s mens event, I really wish I could bring my wife. She loved Kristen and she would love to hear you speak.
Praying for you, brother.
