Isaiah 35
Looking forward to extra time with You this morning. The flowers are more beautiful than they have been in recent years. The birds are really going at it this morning. The trees are still bare, but life is springing up everywhere. I can see the transition right before my eyes!
Waters will break forth in the wilderness and streams in the Arabah.
And the scorched land will become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water.
(Isaiah 35:66-67)
Today, Father, I need Your waters to spring up in my dry soul. I need to cry and be with You. Refresh me today as I soak in Your Spirit. Forgive me for pressing and pushing and neglecting the One thing that matters most. Lead me by still waters. Make me lie down today in green pastures. Restore my soul.
Oh listen to the Word of the Lord! I will listen to what God will say.
Lord, teach my children this balance, the balance between Glory and Grace. I grew up under Your Glory and You had to teach me Your Grace. My children have grown up under Your Grace. Now teach them Your Glory, I pray.
